By using BenchCaptain, you agree to the following. Plain language, no fine print.
What BenchCaptain does
BenchCaptain lets organizers create games, share a signup link, and collect payment from players through Stripe.
Fees
Creating and sharing games is free. A $1.50 platform fee applies per paying player, added on top of the amount the organizer sets. Organizers without a connected Stripe account can instead pay a $5 flat fee to run a single game and collect payment themselves.
Refunds
When a player who paid through the app loses their spot or a game is cancelled, their payment is refunded automatically.
Your responsibility
You're responsible for running your games and honoring the spots players pay for. BenchCaptain is a tool to organize and collect payment, not the host of your games.
As is
The service is provided as is, without warranty. We work to keep it reliable but can't guarantee it's uninterrupted or error-free.
