BenchCaptain helps organizers run pickup games and collect payment. This is a plain-language summary of what we collect and why.
Organizer accounts
When you sign in, we store your email address to identify your account and send you login links.
Games and signups
We store the game details you enter, and the name, email, and phone number players provide when they sign up, so we can build the roster and send confirmations.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers, and payouts go directly to your own connected Stripe account.
Emails
We send transactional emails — confirmations, waitlist offers, game updates — through Resend. We don't send marketing email.
Your data
Want your data removed? Reach out and we'll delete your account and its associated records.
